LIEBHERR sponsors the 2008 European Table Tennis Super Cup.
The Liebherr Group of companies has decided to expand on its engagement as the title sponsor of international table tennis events by adding another highly attractive tournament to the portfolio. The Liebherr European Table Tennis Super Cup 2008 will take place in Moscow (November 11th and 12th) after its successful premiere in Kazan in 2007.
The event with the highest prize money in Europe showcases the best of the best of European table tennis. Just to name a few of the eight world-class participants: Timo BOLL (GER, European Champion 2008 with the team, in singles and doubles and silver medalist at the Olympics with the team), BOLL.s rival Vladimir SAMSONOV (BLR, runner-up at the European Championships 2008 with the team and in singles), shooting star Dimitrij OVTCHAROV (GER, European Champion 2008 with the team and silver medalist at the Olympics 2008 with the team) and table tennis legend Jörgen PERSSON (SWE, semi finalist at the Olympics 2008).
